As well as explaining the Taiwan model in combating #COVID19, he called for our like-minded European partners to see China's wolf-warrior diplomacy for what it is, and to unite in the cause of #democracy, #HumanRights and #freedom against the country's imposition of the national security law in #HongKong. He touted Taiwan as an ideal partner for Europe in terms of bolstering strategic global supply chains and defending shared values. He also invited the ECFR representatives to visit Taiwan after the pandemic to see the vibrant democracy for themselves.
